Let’s get this show on the road!

More great news on the new business front! Decoder has been appointed as the strategic and creative agency for BrisConnections’ Airportlink toll road.

To be heading up the campaign creative behind Australia’s largest current road infrastructure project is huge news for decoder – and for me personally as project manager.

Airportlink will service more than 60% of Brisbane’s population as a key connector between north and western suburbs, with people using the tunnel to guarantee arrival at a certain place at a certain time.

Decoder was selected from a shortlist of five agencies to manage strategic planning (now underway) and a staged communications rollout that will take us through to the public launch in mid-2012.

So, what swung it for decoder? According to CD Nick Pritchard… our targeted, needs-based, geographically segmented solution. “People will use the tunnel if they have relevant, personal information that tells them how it will benefit their day.”

This is our third new business win since we expanded our service offering to include brand strategy, above the line and digital. Looks like our full-service offering is really putting us on the map!

A prescription for success

Malouf Group Pharmacy has come on board as a new client, and the Decoderettes couldn’t be happier about it. Partly because their mind-blowing data strategy is a match made in heaven for Decoder. And partly because we’re secretly hoping they’ll offer us mates rates on make up and cosmetics!

With sixteen pharmacies dotted around Queensland, Malouf is one of the state’s largest privately owned pharmacy groups. They’re a business on the march too, with further growth forecast in 2010.

We met them through mutual data specialist partner, Torque (thanks, guys!) and we have already started work on an exciting rebranding project. There’s also talk of the Malouf Rewards Program being revitalised this year, so watch this space for more updates.
